Committed to quality management, in 2001 we certified ISO 9001:2000 standards in Argentina and then in each country where we operate.

Understanding that sustainability comprises not only processes but also people and the environment led us to extend our certifications in the area of Health and Safety through OHSAS 18001 and the Environment Management System in compliance with ISO 14001.

In 2009, our continuous improvement attitude allowed us to have the standards new versions (ISO 9001:2008 / ISO 14001:2004 / OHSAS 18001:2007) certification and during 2010 we obtained their re-certification.

All the activities at EL TEJAR’s in the four countries it operates –Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, and Uruguay- have adopted the 3 standards, constituting thus an Integrated Management System (IMS).We feel responsible for making the world where we live, where our children and the future generations live, a better one. This implies an inescapable commitment to sustainability by creating wealth, caring for the environment, the people and the communities.
