We have been working since 1992 to advance our no till agribusiness on third-party lands; and, as of 2006, have begun on our own farms as well.
State-of-the-art technology, combined with labor, consumption, and grain logistics allow for the timely and successful completion of our processes, and result in yields well above regional averages and annual increases.
The ability to choose the best agricultural lands in the region for the production of commodities translates into high productivity levels from day one.
Risk management is EL TEJAR's primary agribusiness strength. Price building, country portfolios, climate, soils and products, business scales, financial leverage, technology and production organization and land investment are the 6 factors the company uses to render increasingly predictable results and to limit risk.
We are currently operating rented and owned lands in Pampa Húmeda (the “Wet Pampa”) and in the Northeast region in Argentina; in the Northern and Southern coastline regions and Central and Northeast regions in Uruguay; in Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia; in the Mato Grosso region in Brazil and in Paraguay.
We do not own agricultural equipment; all of our farm labors are outsourced. Our relationship with agricultural service providers is one of the key competitive edges to our business.
