31/08/2010 - It was really a livestock party! The stockyards of bulls, heifers and calves of superior quality, honored the Cabaña slogan “Best genetic results in cattle”.

On Friday August 28, Cabaña El Tejar carried out its 7th Annual Cattle Auction in the Saladillo Rural Association fairground.

After lunch, 550 people joined the meeting to hear the gavel of Ignacio Oromí, at the auction in charge of Lartirigoyen & Cia and Sivero & Cía, and financed by Galicia Rural.

The outstanding task performed daily by the cattle team, as well as the use of different assessment and measurement tools, endorsing the Cabaña production, was evidenced by the exceptional stockyard presentation and the total sale of all bulls and heifers put in auction.

Cabaña El Tejar is part of the Argentine Breedplan Angus Group and participates in the bovine genetic evaluation conducted by the University of New England, Australia. Its cattle models are developed over the less productive soils, where the proper genetic application strengthens production and accompanies the conditions of those environments.
